    Marius Silaghi | TurboSmooth Pro v.1.02 for 9/2008/2009/2010/2011/2012/2013/2014/2015

    TurboSmooth Pro is a modifier plugin for 3ds Max which produces nice smooth semi-sharp creases on your models, unlike the ugly creases that the standard TurboSmooth produces. It also give you the ability to have linear UVs which in some cases can help in the texturing pipeline.

    Features:

    • Quickly and easily set nice smooth creases either by edge weight or smoothing groups.
    • Don’t have to struggle placing support loops.
    • Have more control over your mesh.
    • Avoid artifacts produces by support loops.

    Situations in which you would want to use TurboSmooth Pro:

    • When you want to quickly model hard surface models.
    • When you want to be able to easily change to shape of an object without having to move a lot of support loops.
    • When you want to save time.

    Marius Silaghi | Quad Chamfer Modifier 1.16 for 9/2008/2009/2010/2011/2012/2013/2014/2015

    The Quad Chamfer Modifier produces all quad chamfers, unlike the normal 3ds Max chamfer which produces a lot of triangles and ngons.

    It is the successor of the Quad Chamfer maxscript, improving on by:

    • Speed. Being a native c++ plugin now it allows you to modify chamfers in real time.
    • Control. You can determine the look of your chamfers by controlling their sharpness/roundness.
    • Robustness. A robust new algorithm allows you to chamfer any edge combinations without unpredictable results.
    • Flexibility. You don’t have to commit to any chamfer, you can always change them later.
    • Workflow. Besides using edge selection you can chamfer by smoothing group boundaries or edge weights. This way • • you can edit the underlying topology without losing or destroying your chamfers. Also chamfering by edge weights • allows to have variable widths on your chamfers.

    Here are some of the benefits you get:
    • You get better results if you use Quad Chamfer in conjunction with turbosmooth
    • No more unwanted pinching
    • Great topology
    • You can control the sharpness/roundness of your chamfers
    • You don’t have to commit to any chamfer, you can change them anytime

    Marius Silaghi | TurboReverse 1.01 for 9/2008/2009/2010/2011/2012/2013/2014/2015

    TurboReverse is a 3ds Max modifier that has the opposite effect of TurboSmooth. It will recreate the subdivision levels of an already subdivided mesh with 100% precision maintaining the existing UVs.

    • It is the successor of Subdivision Reversion maxscript.
    • It is now 100 times faster, being a native 3ds Max plugin, not a maxscript anymore.
    • It has the ability to reverse just parts of your models based on your selection.
    • It can reverse multiple iterations at a time.

    Here are some of the benefits you get:
    • If a 3d model you buy online has it’s modifier stack collapsed it is almost useless, you can’t edit, unwrap, rig • it, but with TurboReverse you can reconstruct the first subdivision level and then do all the above.
    • If in your production pipeline you need at some point to collapse the model with TurboReverse you can get the subdivisions back later.
    • When you apply a turbosmooth modifier to a reconstructed subdivision level you will get exactly the same mesh as the original.

    Quad Cap Pro is a modifier plugin for 3ds Max that fills borders and ngons with quad polygons unlike the normal cap tool which produces one big ngon.
    Quad Cap Pro is the successor of the Quad Cap maxscript. It is now faster, has many more features and also it can cap ngons with an uneven number sides producing quads and a single triangle.

    TopoRelax is a 3ds Max modifier which relaxes meshes while preserving their volume unlike the normal relax modifier which shrinks the mesh.

    Here are some of the benefits you get:
    • You don’t have to worry about meshes losing their volume while you relax them.
    • You get a nice evenly distributed quad mesh.
    • You can be happy about a nice smooth mesh.
    • Situations in which you would want to use TopoRelax modifier:
    • When you want to have an evenly distributed quad mesh for sculpting.
    • When you want to produce morph targets.
    • When you want to smooth out a mesh to remove unwanted artifacts.

    Radial Symmetry is the first and only 3ds Max modifier which allows you to model radial structures and see the end result.
